The UMTA is sorry to report that due to the ongoing shut-down of State parks, the Gilbert Event is officially cancelled.

The next event on the UMTA schedule is July 17 & July 18 at Theilman. This is an AMA-sanctioned event, natch!

Map/directions to Theilman

From the Twin Cities, go south on Hwy 52 to MN Hwy 60 East, just past Zumbrota. Head east on Hwy 60 through Zumbro Falls, past Milville, past the Spring Creek Motocross Park, to County Road 4. Go south on 4 through the town of Theilman to the Whippoorwill Campground. The trials parking area is across the road from the campground.

Spirit Mountain Duluth MN
Lower Lot: From the south, take I-35 halfway down the hill to Cody Street exit. Take Cody St to 63rd Ave West and trun right. Take 63rd to Grand Ave and turn right. Take Grand to 88th Ave West(not marked) and turn right into the lower lot. From Wisconsin or the north, Hwy 53 to I-35 south to Grand Ave exit. Grand Ave to 88th.

The board met and made some adjustments to our 2007 schedule. The following is the updated 2007 UMTA event scheduleApril 21-22: Theilman
May 20: Mankato – Tom Hoppe Property
June: 9-10 Gilbert
June 30-July 1: Duluth – Haggis – Spirit Mountain
July 22: Hixton – with WOTA
Aug 4-5: Theilman
Aug 25-26: Duluth – Spirit Mountain
Oct 20-21: Theilman – Central Regional Series (Non UMTA point
event)

The WHY to the changes involved financial considerations, national NATC scheduling conflicts, trialmasters desires, club member input etc.Â Of course we are really excited to be able to ride Duluth again this year… 2 times to make up for our missing last few years ). On the not so good news side, we have decided to institute a $5 per day land use fee on top of our normal registration $$ at the Duluth events to offset the new cost for us riding at Spirit Mountain. Of course if the cost disappears, the land use fee for the riders will too!!
