Steve Anderson says that the DNR is asking Observed Trials riders to participate in the Grand Opening of the Iron Range Off Highway Vehicle Recreation Area near Gilbert on Oct. 5. (The park is open the previous weekend, Sept. 28.) They’d evidently like us to set up sections for several ability levels and then demonstrate the sport.

We may want to host a Trial or two in the park next year. But even if we don’t, it may be a great place for recruiting new riders.
