Steve Anderson called with this update today after he talked with Ron Potter, one of the DNR guys in charge of the Iron Range OHV Park. Potter evidently attended a Faribault trial in the past year or so.
Potter wants guidance in their construction of man-made stadium-type trial sections near the vendor area and parking lot — flat ground. They have the heavy equipment to place huge boulders, old earth-mover tires, logs, etc. however we think they should be placed.
So call Steve at 507-689-2071 if you can:
A) guide the DNR on the construction of the obstacles
B) ride the obstacles during the Grand Opening on Oct. 5.
Reminder: the park opens this Saturday, September 28, at 8 am and closes one hour before sunset.
