I visited the burning dump for a local tree service today. This is a photo of two piles of medium-sized logs (30-40 or so logs total) that they could haul to the Faribault club grounds. They don’t currently have any big logs.

From Steve Kirschner:
Info on the Hixton 2 day is posted on the WOTA web site.
Saturday Nite will be an informal get together at the Kirschner Residence/Trials Grounds for good food (provided), good friends (maybe), and good cheer (if you bring your own)! Free will donations accepted for the food.
A word to the wise. Stay in designated areas at Silver mound as “No Trespassing” may be enforced in other areas. Not as bad as it sounds, just stay on the loop or in the sections/immediate area. Don’t go wandering off to explore the Mound and DO NOT RIDE CROSS COUNTRY FROM CAMPGROUND TO TRIALS SITE.
A 20 x 40 swimming pool at the KOA Kampground (other side of the mound) is open to the public (for a fee) and campers.
Here’s a Word doc flyer for the event, suitable for printing out and posting.
Mike Hendrickson is the Trialsmaster for this weekend’s event at Storm’s Ranch near Faribault.

Many helpers are pitching in, since both Mike and yours truly have been crippled.
Still no official mentor for the day, however. Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?
