Minnesota Motorcycle Conference

I need help in a variety ways!

Comprehensive Safety Systems has called with an opportunity I would like to explore. They are sponsoring a motorcycle conference March 6, 2004 in the Twin Cities and have asked us to be presenters on the topic of Observed Trials. What I am asking is this:

1-A few people to present at the conference, young, old, male, female, experienced, inexperienced. I want to show the range of possibilities that the UMTA presents to its membership.

2-Photos & videos of our club members. I want to see all riding levels, awards ceremonies, camping, good family fun….

3-In conjunction with #2, AV ability. I believe I can tap on some of my contacts to put together a quick AV presentation built from our photos & videos but it would be nice if we had the resources within the club.

4-Weather permitting, We will have an opportunity to put on a short demonstration in the parking lot. Again I would like to show our diversity Young/old/trick/basic.

I am looking for help from any and all who can spare the time to show others what we are all about. Please e-mail me if you have any of the resources above.

Matt update

Matt Wittlief got out of the hospital on Feb. 5 and is on the mend. According Brian Dotterwick’s Feb. 13 post to the Matt topic in The Pit, the UMTA message boards:

Matt’s home and doing as good as expected. Not getting much sleep. I wouldn’t call him just yet. If you would like to talk to him give me your number and i will give it to him when he calls me — about every other day.

Contact Brian via email.
