Two new albums are up in the UMTA photo gallery: - Photos of the Saturday night anniversary festivities and finsher podiums both days - 86 rider photos from Sunday, courtesy of a visitor, Pat Carver from Bloomington. ![]() Day 1 first place Champ, Al Gohlike, cleaning the wall exit on Section 1. Al and his Team Mad Max (Willy Gruette, Gregg Mellberg, and Ben Winterer — Section 12 observers at the World Round) donated their $1,000 observer stipend to the UMTA, which funded the pig roast, T-shirts and other miscellaneous expenses for the weekend. Al was also honored for being the longest active club member. He started riding in 1970, the year after the club began.
