We’ve been informed that we’re unable to hold the July 23-24 event in Duluth at Spirit Mountain due to the wear and tear from the rain-drenched world round. That event has now been moved to Faribault, with me as trialsmaster. The Haggis Basher is this weekend, June 25 & 26. Two separate events: ride either day or both days. Trophies each day for all classes. Trialsmasters: Bear, Al Gohlike
This year, we are having pork sandwiches, salads, fruit, root beer floats, Haggis, potatoes and turnips for dinner Saturday evening.
See Haggis photos from: Check the Used Bikes page for the latest. Thanks to Ed Hofstrand for maintaining the page. Next weekend, June 3 & 4, is the USA World Round in Duluth, MN. In the latest AMA American Motorcyclist Magazine on P. 44, there’s a photo of UMTA’s Jim Blount, a.k.a. Bubba, minding for Bruce leRiche (not Brent, as stated in the article). And another of UMTA’s Martin Belair minding for Chris Florin. Click the images for a larger view. I used my camera to take photos of the magazine pages since the photos aren’t online. I’m getting too many subsmissions for used bikes from non-members and for non-trials bikes so I’ve got a new scheme. Use our Used Bike Form to submit a listing and then we’ll forward it to the UMTA membership email discussion list. |
